We are a non-profit community organization that exists to help churches, schools, businesses, and families in Polk County improve how they influence the next generation.
So far, For Polk has accomplished seeing over 80 student leaders lead 1500 students in a community student ministry, multiple churches excelling in family ministry as well as partnering with each other in large ministry events, and all 10 schools using character education that coincides with a monthly principal local churches and businesses are pushing.
Faith is foundational. So if the church doesn’t win, the community doesn’t win. We partner with churches and other faith based organizations to see them link arms with the community, have strong family ministries, and make it possible for every kid in Polk to know who Jesus is and have a church family.
Kids spend over 1,300 hours of their year in school. That’s a lot. We partner with all 10 public schools in Polk County to help kids and families understand the value of character and academics.
Local businesses help sustain the community. Local businesses who are community minded flourish the community. We partner with businesses who are outward facing in teaming with churches, schools, and families to make a greater impact.
Before school, church, or anywhere else, the most important moments in a kid’s life are the moments that happen at home. We partner with families in giving them incredible resources through churches, schools, and local businesses. “It takes a village”. We’ll be that village.
